Design work

Our company puts great emphasis on design work.
By design work we mean a completion of the concept or changes in existing products.
We perform verifications using the Virtual prototype technology (collision, kinematics, consistency, dependability) and we create final 3D models suitable for serial production, e.g. NC machine programming, alternatively submitting production documentation.

Concepts and Visualization

We use CATIA V5 tools to quickly create the primary design of the product and submit it to the customer in the form of an informative drawing, a 3D model in the requested format, or as a presentation with illustrative images, breakdowns, animations and visualizations in the common office formats.

3D modeling and systems

Nowadays, 3D modeling is the fundamental activity in design. Modification of existing “3D models” and creation of new ones is essential for designing a complex system, whether it is an automobile, vacuum cleaner, pressing tool or injection-molding device, and it represents the basic input for virtual prototypes, kinematics, consistency calculations, creation of drawing documentation, etc. To our advantage, we again use the CATIA V5 tool for creating the models and working with the systems
In particular, we have extensive experience with these injection-molded plastic components:

- air conditioning parts
- pedals
- cable brackets
- interior lining (including multi-component types, e.g. door lining), as well as sheet-metal (compression-molded) components and castings.

Drawing documentation

Upon agreement with the customer, we submit the production documentation according to the assigned production technology and in requested standards and norms, in electronic or hard copy format.

Electrical Wiring

We have extensive experience with automobile electrical wiring, from connection diagrams, through 3D models completed in CATIA V5, all the way to drawing documentation.
Therefore, we are able to work with various connections, according to the customization of the vehicle, design the embedding of electrical cable networks including the fixing elements, design the structure of the tunnels, channels and other types of cabling, protect the wiring against damage, analyze the cutting lengths for wiring production and prepare production drawings.

NC Programming Technical Preparation of Production – CNC Machinery & Equipment Programming

Thanks to the convenient tools for programming CNC machines, which are part of the CATIA V4 and CATIA V5 systems, it is possible to already start creating the programs necessary for producing components, production agents, molds or tools, in the course of the “raw” design process, which shortens the interim time from initiation of design to final product. After completion of the final component, the design modifications and additions are interactively considered in the resulting outputs of the CNC machinery.

- We can create NC data for the control of all standard and unconventional types of milling tools and controlling systems, including five-axis programs.
- We can perform tuning of the programs destined for serial production, including completion of the enclosed workshop documentation.
- We can contract the production of components, agents, molds with renowned manufacturers in the Czech Republic.

Virtual Prototypes, Assembly Procedures

The term Virtual Prototype (DMU – Digital Mock-Up) represents not only the 3D model or system, but also the most complex approach, including all kinematic movements the future product will undergo, as well as the identification of collisions. Using the component database, we are able to analyze any problems that might occur during assembly or disassembly – whether it is in production or maintenance operations. Correct design of the assembly and service procedures, in the early design phase, leads naturally to substantial savings of time and money.
